Get in Touch with Your Inner Child: Order Usborne Books
64Get in Touch with Your Inner Child: Order Usborne Books
I have known about Usborne books since I went a house party a few years ago. I learned the whole mode of sale and how to order Usborne books. I have also known about Scholastic book orders for more years than I care to publish in such a public forum. As a school girl I always loved scholastic book orders.
Book orders and the adult
Now I am no longer a child. I still get excited when the catalogues come home filled with fun books to order. Usborne, Scholastic, Candlewick Press, it doesn’t really matter to me. Each company offers fun books in their own special flavor. I like them all for different reasons.
I have learned a thing or two, however over the years as I have placed orders and lived to love or regret my choices. What I want now is to sustain the excitement of the order with each and every delivery. If you feel the same way and want to do way with book order remorse I have a bit of advice that has worked for me.
Research it
First, knowing what you are getting is key. The old adage of never judging a book by its cover must have been coined by a disillusioned catalogue shopper. Colorful covers and catchy titles do not ensure an enjoyable read to follow.
This is where Usborne shines. When I order Usborne books I can almost always handle them before hand. I know what I am getting. To research other titles a trip to the library or book store often becomes necessary.
Quality and Quantity
Scholastic book orders are great for offering many books for a very small price tag. This is something I like because I like to read and so do my children. We go through lots of books. While I love the amount of books I can get, I am not in love with their quality in general. This is something new to Scholastic orders should know.
Usborne books usually cost a more, but they last longer and are able to withstand the frequent use, and sometimes abuse of young readers. It is up to the parent to strike the all important balance between quantity and quality.
What I have done is to use Scholastic book orders to bulk up book variety. On the other hand for long term, can’t live without it, read it every day, kind of use I order Usborne books.

Hey, im Molly from Mountain View in Hickory,Nc im 11 years old 6th grader there,I think that your doing a great job, but the only thing is that i think kids need books instead of all these games and and D.S games and stuff i think there should be more like 4,5,6th grade kind of books i found only one book that i liked or two, but i'd much rather there be interesting books and stuff like this, i think it would be better for the older kids in school.
Thank you,

Hello ... nice to meet you. It sounds like you are selling the books, are you? I am planning on becoming a consultant, too. It is a great product!
